Our Story
Back in the days, when surf was just beginning to bloom in Portugal, the building affectionately known as the “Torre Eiffel” quickly became a landmark for the local community. For more than 20 years, it welcomed locals and travelers alike as a pension, café, and restaurant, where stories were shared, friendships formed, and the vibrant spirit of Ericeira came alive.

Our house had many names, and today Ondina is a heartfelt family project, created in 2017 to honor the memory of our mother, Dina. The name Ondina comes from a combination of Onda (wave in Portuguese) and Dina, symbolizing both the ocean we love and her enduring presence in everything we do.This project continues the same spirit of connection and joy, offering a peaceful retreat by the ocean, where you can enjoy mindful moments, Portuguese family hospitality, and the gentle rhythm of São Lourenço.
